Dhanwantari Jayati will be celebrated on Tuesday. The day of the Diwali festival is dedicated to the God of Health Dhanwantari, who is believed to have born on this day.
The ancient Indian health science holds more importance now, particularly after Covid19 pandemic. People have started realising the importance of maintaining health than depending upon modern medicines for several ailments. With the changing life style people have started adopting methods of maintaining healthy body, which have been mentioned in Ayurved.
Adv Madhavdas Mamtani will deliver discourse on Dhanwantari Jayanti, as mentioned in Shri Dasam Granth of Guru Govind Singh at G Kumar Arogyadham, at 8 am. G Kumar Arogyadham has been publishing health magazine ‘Swasthya Vatika’. The special Diwali issue will be released on the occasion. Guardian Minister Dr Nitin Raut, MP Dr Vikas Mahatme and krupal Tumane, MLC Girishchandra Vyas, Krishna Khopde, Nago Ganar, ex-MLC Prakash Gaijbhiye, , Dr Vedprakash Mishra will be the guests of honour.
Dhanwantari Jayanti is also celebrated at Shree Ayurved Mahavidyalaya and Pakwasa Hospital, with religious fervour. Health camps are organised every year by the Ayurved College.
Ayured practitioners consider this day to be most important and pray for health of all on the occasion.
