The minimum temperature of the Orange City on Thursday was 9.6 degrees Celsius with a rise of 1.1 degrees Celsius the lowest in Vidarbha region. The maximum temperature recorded was 28 degrees Celsius.
The IMD had said there would be a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 3-5° Celsius over most parts of Northwest and Central India over the next three days, leading to relief from the cold wave conditions in the region.
Apart from Nagpur Gondia also recorded 9.6 degrees Celsius in the day with a change of 0.6 degrees Celsius in last 24 hours. According to Regional Meteorological Centre Nagpur data Gadchiroli 9.8 degrees Celsius, Wardha 10.4 degrees Celsius, Chandrapur 10.8 degrees Celsius, Amravati and Yavatmal 11.5 degrees Celsius each, Akola 12.4 degrees Celsius, and Washim, Buldana at 13 degrees Celsius respectively.
