The minimum temperature of the Orange City on Friday was 10.9 degrees Celsius with a rise of 1.3 degrees Celsius providing some relief from the cold wave. The maximum temperature recorded was 29.1 degrees Celsius.
The IMD had said there would be a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 3-5° Celsius over most parts of Northwest and Central India over the next three days, leading to relief from the cold wave conditions in the region.
In a day Gondia recorded 10 degrees Celsius in the day with a change of 0.4 degrees Celsius in last 24 hours. According to Regional Meteorological Centre Nagpur data Washim 11.5 degrees Celsius, Chandrapur 12.2 degrees Celsius, Gadchiroli and Wardha 12.4 degrees Celsius, Brahmpuri 12.6 degrees Celsius, Amravati 13.7 degrees Celsius, Akola 13.8 degrees Celsius, Yavatmal 14 degrees Celsius, and Buldana 15.3 degrees Celsius.
