Tourists wanting to enjoy jungle safari in Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) in Chandrapur district should have completed two doses of vaccination against covid-19 otherwise they would not be allowed to enter in from Friday.
Ajay Gulhane, District Collector and District Magistrate, Chandrapur, has issued the orders in view of the increasing cases of corona and tackle the spread of virus. It is also compulsory for the guides, gate managers, Gypsy drivers and other staff at the gates that they should complete both the jabs.
The management of TATR will allow six persons from a family or persons travelling together in the vehicle for jungle safari and for others the number is four only. The jungle safari would be totally closed on Tuesday in core zone of the park and Wednesday in buffer zone.
It is also necessary for two vehicles to maintain a distance of 15 feet in between them during safari. The management would not tolerate unnecessary rush at the entry points. All the persons would have to undergo test by thermal scanner, infrared thermometer and they have wear masks, use sanitizer etc. Similarly, drivers would also follow rules about vehicles like sanitization.
