Nagpur city recorded another huge jump in daily corona cases. On Friday 593 new cases were reported from city in last 24 hours.
With the rapid raise in cases the Active case of city stands at 1779.
Meanwhile, no death was recorded in a day. In a day 80 persons recovered from the dreaded virus which was highest in recent times.
At the same time cases of new variant Omicron are also increasing. On Friday 876 Omicron cases have been recorded. Majority of these cases are in Mumbai- 565, Pune -83, Pimpri-Chinchwad – 45, Thane – 36, Nagpur – 30.
