Maharashtra Government on Saturday announced new curbs to control the rampant of COVID-19 cases in the state.
On Saturday the state recorded 41,434 with 9,671 recoveries and 13 deaths in last 24 hours taking the active cases to 1,73,238.
Following the gradual increase in daily cases a mini lockdown has been announced. New restrictions will come into effect from January 10 and will remain into effect till further order.
New curbs are as follows-
No movement in group of 5 or more people from 5 am to 11 pm
No movement except for essential purpose from 11 pm to 5 am.
Marriages- Maximum 50
Funeral- Maximum 20
Social, Religious, Cultural, Political Gathering- Maximum 50
Schools, Colleges- To remain closed till February 15
Swimming pool, Spas, Gym, Beauty Saloons- To remain closed
Hair Saloons- To be closed from 10 pm to 7 am, with 50 % capacity
Sporting Competitive events- To defer except for National and International levels competition
No Audience, Bio-Bubble for all players and officials
RT-PCR, RAT every third day
No city or district level sports camps, events to be organised
Entertainment Parks, Zoos, Museums, Forts- To remain closed
Shopping mall, market complexes- 50% capacity, to remain closed from 10 pm to 8 am every day
Restaurants, eateries- 50% capacity, to remain closed from 10 pm to 8 am all day, Home delivery allowed all day.
Cinema, Theatres, Natyagriha- 50 % capacity, to remain closed from 10 pm to 8 am on all days.
