Jawans of Nuisance Detection Squad (NDS) on Monday raided various establishments, shops, vegetable markets and other places and recovered a fine of Rs 1.05 lakh from them for using plastic bags and materials.
They raided Ashish Plastic in Gandhibag Market, HKGN, Ghar Sansar in Mangalwari Zone and shops in Zingabai Takli and booked them for using plastic materials and fined them.
The squad is cracking down on establishments following directives issued by Radhakrishnan B, Municipal Commissioner.
