On the backdrop of growing Covid infection in the district, Guardian Minister Nitin Raut has raised concern over large crowds in the marketplaces. Those visiting malls, shops, or going near hawkers should all wear masks, he advised. He’s ordered the police to take action against businesses and customers who don’t follow Covid’s rules. Raut was addressing at a meeting with Covid Task Force members and top authorities.
The crowds at markets like Sitabuldi, according to Raut, are unsafe because of the rising number of Covid infections. Vaccination is required for all employees in stores and workplaces. Customers visiting the stores are required to wear a mask.
Raut said that both doses of vaccine are mandatory for auto drivers, private bus drivers, shopkeepers, hawkers, and delivery boys. They will have to carry a certificate of tak ing both the doses. If some one has to step out of the house then vaccination is necessary.
