Residents of Nagpur on Thursday woke up to the coldest morning with a minimum temperature of 8.3 degrees Celsius, the lowest in the Vidarbha region, the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) here said.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert warning for the Vidarbha region for the next two days, as per RMC’s data.
The minimum temperature here will remain around the same for the next two days with cold waves and cold breeze during the daytime as predicted.
Besides Nagpur, various other places in the region have also been witnessing cold conditions.
On Thursday, Buldana and Gondia recorded the minimum temperature of 8.8 degrees celsius, becoming the second coldest in the region, Akola 9.3 degrees Celsius, Wardha 9.4 degrees Celsius, Bramhapuri 9.8 degrees Celsius, Yavatmal 10.0 degrees Celsius, Gadchiroli 11.0 degrees Celsius, and Chandrapur 11.4 degrees Celsius, as per the RMC.
