Young and talented coder, Vansh Anup Hurkat of class 9 made his school proud by being amongst the 5 winners in the Google Code To Learn Contest 2021. This is a coding contest organized by Google India. The contest was open to students from classes 5 to 12 who are enrolled at any school in India. A panel of judges selected up to 10 finalists from each class group. All the 10 finalists from each class group went through a second round of judging to select up to 5 winners from each class group. The winners were declared on 21st January and Vansh Hurkat was one of them.
His project was an app named Medicare and its aim was to help any person to solve their medical related doubts and concerns. Vansh noticed that not many people are educated or have knowledge about medicines and end up self-medicating with harmful side effects. So, his app aimed to help those people to look after themselves and make an informed decision.
We commend his idea and his humane spirit. As a winner, he will get a Chromebook laptop or an equivalent gadget approximately worth Rs. 30,000/- . He thanked his teacher and mentor Mrs. Smita Chakankar for guiding him to attain this feat.
The principal, Mrs. Kanchan Ukey and the rest of the school heartily congratulated Vansh for this amazing achievement.
