In a ghastly mishap, three persons travelling in a car from Akola to Jabalpur were killed when the front right side tyre burst near Kondhali on Saturday noon time.
According to information, woman driver Archana Sandip Agrawal (57), a resident frm Gwalior, lost control on Hyundai Accent car besring no: MP20 CH 3041 lost control on the vehicle soon after the tyre burst and it dashed against the road divider. The car then turned turtle thrice and settled on Amravati-Kondhali lan with head towards Amravati side. The impact was so great that the car mingled badly.
Anupam Vinod Kumar Gupta (50), his wife Renu Anupam Gupta (45), and their son Akshar (27) died on the spot. Driver Archana, sister of Anupam Gupta was injured grievously and was admitted to a private clinic. All the three bodies were sent to Katol Rural Hospital for pist mortem. The scene at the spot was so pathetic that the head of Anupam was smashed badly.
