CREDAI Nagpur Metro welcomes the steps taken by Hon’ble Nitinji Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport & National Highways, Government of India. He has written a letter to Petroleum Minister for shifting Ratnagiri Refinery Project to Vidarbha.
Many industries will be benefitted with this project. Petrochemical Refinery Complex with many small and large ancillary units may generate more than Five Lakh direct indirect jobs helping Per Capita Income to grow manifold. With the huge investment of more than 4 Lakh Crore, massive opportunities will emerge for different sectors.
Real Estate will also get the boost and may attract FDI also. The project will not only generate many jobs in Vidarbha but also attract various industries and investments. This project is a need of hour in Vidarbha to create opportunities for employment and growth of the region. The region will get not only fuel and LPG but also many industries based on petrochemicals like textiles, soap and detergents, paints, cement, steel etc will also be helped. These ancillary industries will attract jobs for the local people and also from other cities people will turn up.
The apex body of Builders and developers of Nagpur region welcome the efforts taken by VED Council for the project. The mega refinery project of 60 MMTPA will not only meet future oil demand growth but also boost export of petro-products. This will boost the demand of residential as well as commercial spaces. Steel Cement and all other building materials is available nearby. It will further help the sector.
FlyAsh consumption will increase manifold due to huge consumption of Bricks, RMC and Project related work. This polluting ash will convert into money with boosting rural employments generating opportunities. CREDAI Nagpur Metro supports the project whole heartedly and would like to thank Shri Nitinji Gadkari for taking such bold initiatives. Best infrastructure created by Mr Gadkari will be fully utilised as Nagpur is fully geared up to welcome such huge project.
