Nagpur Smart & Sustainable City Development Corporation Limited (NSSCDC) displayed a big smart LED screen in the premises of smart parking in Ramdaspeth to create social awareness.
Dayashankar Tiwari, the Mayor, dedicated the LED screen to the people at a function held on Wednesday evening. Buvaneswari S, Chief Executive Officer of NSSCDC, Ganesh Rathod, Asstt Commissioner, Laxminagar zone, Chandrashekhar Mohite, Member, National Road Safety Committee, Dr Pranita Umredkar, Nodal Officer and Head, Environment, NSSCDC, Lakhan Yerawar, Corporator, Dr Rajendra Dakhne from Rainbow Hospital, Rahul Pande from Planning Department, Dr Sheel Ghule, Shrikant Deshpande and others were present.
Addressing the gathering, Tiwari said, NSSCDC has started a new project under Amrut Mahotasava. NMC displayed LED screens at various places in the city. However, the biggest screen among others is displayed in Ramdaspeth. The screen provides information through pictures and videos on social welfare through MNC, rules, awareness on coronavirus pandemic, social message, cleanliness, road safety. The citizens will get valuable information on various issues, he said adding that looking at the response from the people the corporation would display more such screen in other areas of the city. On the occasion, Tiwari congratulated the team of NSSCDC on doing good job.
Dr Shilgule of e-governance gave detailed information about the project. Manish soni, PRO, conducted the programme and proposed a vote of thanks.
