The special Investigation team of Narcotics Control Bureau has reported that no evidence was found against Aryan Khan, the son of actor Shah Rukh Khan, who was arrested in Mumbai cruise drug case last year.
The report also added that there were several irregularities in the raid on the yacht Cordelia during which he was arrested.
The raid was not video-recorded as required by the NCB manual, and the drugs recovered from multiple accused arrested in the case were shown as a single recovery.

As per sources, the SIT investigation isn’t over, and the final report to NCB Director General S N Pradhan could take several months. Before a final decision is made, a legal opinion will be sought, notably on the question of whether Khan may be charged with consumption despite the fact that he was not in possession of any drugs, according to one of the officers.
The SIT probe seems to raise more questions over the raid itself, and the conduct of the agency’s former Mumbai Zonal Unit director Sameer Wankhede.
