The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached property worth Rs 6.45 crore belonging to Pushpak Group of Shridhar Patankar, brother-in-law of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
The attachments includes 11 residential apartments in Nilambari project in Thane.
Raids on properties of Pushpak Group and alied groups is being carried out since Tuesday morning.
The raids are alleged to be conducted in vindictive attitude of the Centre by using its agencies, in the states where BJP is not in power.
After the ED, Income Tax and CBI raided residential and business premises, connected to Mahavikas Aghadi ministers Anil Deshmukh, Nawab Malik and Anil Parab, the raid on Tuesday is directly related to the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
