Rise in for consecutive second day, fuelled anger amongst the vehicle users. The prices of petrol and diesel were increased by about 80 paise per litre on Wednesday. On Tuesday the hike in fuel prices was by about of the same amount, besides addition of Rs 50 in LPG cylinder prices.
With the Wednesday’s hike the petrol in Nagpur will cost Rs 111.37 and diesel Rs 94.18 for a litre.
The steep rise in fuel price is expected due to war between two major fuel suppliers Russia and Ukraine. The prices of edible oil is also expected to be going upwards. The LPG cylinder in Nagpur would cost Rs 1001.50.
The hike in price after about 137 days, is likely to affect all the business as transportation cost is increasing.
