An Aero-modelling show will be held at Mankapur Sports Complex on Sunday from 7 am to 10 am. Around 5,000 children are expected to attend the show to witness the performance of 25 to 30 aircrafts.
Sunil Kedar, the state minister for sports and youth welfare, stated that the stadium was ready to host the grand show. A final review meeting will be held at the Divisional Commissioner’s Office on Saturday at 4 p.m.
The Sports Department intends to finish the entire show before 10 a.m. At the complex, seating arrangements for children and parents are being made. All dignitaries will enter through VIP Gate No. 1, leaving Gate No. 2 open for students and parents.
The show will be streamed live on social media and cable networks as well. The administration will provide refreshments and water to the children. Under the supervision of Youth Welfare Minister Sunil Kedar, the event is being organised jointly by the Sports and Youth Services Department and the Rashtriya Chhatra Sena.
The event will feature 30 different types of aircraft flying in the sky. On the day of the event, no traffic changes were made, according to the traffic police.
