The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has decided to keep its counters open on Saturday and Sunday, despite the fact that it is an official holiday, to facilitate the payment of current and outstanding electricity bills.
All of the counters in Nagpur and Wardha will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Furthermore, all electricity consumers in the low tension (LT) category can pay their bills at home using Mahavitran’s website www.mahadiscom.in, mobile app, or other ‘online’ options.
MSEDCL has appealed to the consumers to co-operate with MSEDCL by paying their outstanding electricity bills.
The decision to close counters is also based on the fact that the financial year is coming to a close, and many customers tend to pay off their outstanding debts at that time.
