Abhishek Bachchan is busy promoting Dasvi with his co-stars Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam. At the same time, the actor’s father and megastar Amitabh Bachchan was busy promoting Dasvi on social media.
Right from sharing the trailer of the film to the character posters, Big B did everything in his right to promote Dasvi. The film was released today, April 7, on Jio Cinema and Netflix. A day before the film’s release, Amitabh Bachchan hit back at trolls who questioned why he promoted Dasvi.
While sharing it, Big B officially declared that son Abhishek is his ‘uttaradhikari’. Later, he shared his thoughts on the songs of Dasvi via his Twitter handle. When fans started the countdown to Dasvi’s release, Sr Bachchan also expressed his excitement.
And when the trolls questioned why he went all out to promote his son’s film, Amitabh Bachchan hit back at them with a tweet in a epic style.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, Big B wrote, “Ji haan huzoor main karta hu: badhai, prachar, mangalachar. Kya kar loge? (Yes sir, I do share congratulations, promotions, invocations!!! What will you do)?
Meanwhile, on the movie front, Big B’s last big screen release was Jhund with director Nagraj Manjule. The film opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. Next, the veteran actor will be seen in Runway 34 with Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and Boman Irani. The film is scheduled for release on April 29, 2022.
Post Runway 34, Big B has Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy lined up for release. The movie is scheduled for release on September 9, 2022. Besides these two movies, Amitabh Bachchan has The Intern Hindi remake, Project K and GoodBye with Rashmika Mandanna.
