The lawyer of the State Transport employees Gunratna Sadavarte is charged with instigating people to stage violent demonstrations in front of Sharad Pawar’s residence.
Sadavarte has been arrested and remanded police custody for further investigation. During an address to the transport employees he had stated that he is likely to be eliminated.
Police carried out search at his residence and arrested him.
Meanwhile, the Transport Minister Anil Parab has appealed to the employees on strike to join duties.
