Chandrapur registered highest temperature of 43.2 degrees C in Vidarbha on Tuesday, crossing Akola which was the highest for the last couple of days. Akola registered the temperature of 43 degrees C today that means it is reeling under heatwave.
Brahmapuri and Wardha registered 42.2 degrees C each that is higher than other cities in the region. The temperature at Amravati was 41.8 degrees C while it was 41.4 degrees C in Yavatmal and 41.0 degrees C in Gondia. The temperature at Buldana, considered to be cool place comparatively, is rising now and it was 40.8 degrees C as against 40.5 degrees C at Nagpur. Gadchiroli, which incorporates 70 per cent forest, registered lowest temperature of 39.0 degrees C.
