MOIL Limited organized one-day seminar on Electrical Safety in Mines which was conducted by the Directorate of Mines Safety, Electrical Circle, Western Zone, Nagpur recently.
The program was organised at the group training centre of MOIL Limited at Munsar Mine. The Director of Mines Safety (Electrical), S. Puttaraju, Dy. Directors of Mines Safety, S K Upadhyaya, Shaik Nagulmeera and Vijay Bhaskar conducted various sessions on different aspects of electrical safety.
The DMS also informed of various new technologies implemented recently in the mining industry to improve the efficiency and safety of the system. From MOIL Limited, Akhilesh Rai; General Manager (Electrical), Electrical Engineers, supervisors and electricians of mines participated in the program.
The program was very informative and useful for the electrical section of mines.
