Nagpur has experienced a slight raise in the day temperature from 43.3 degrees C to 43.5 degrees C within 24 hours ending on Tuesday evening. It was not that troublesome atmosphere for the citizens today so that they should curse it.
A comparative study of the temperature figures reveals that Wardha registering 45.5 degrees C temperature was the hottest district today, closely followed by Chandrapur – 44.4 degrees C, Akola and Brahmapuri – 44.2 degrees C each. Amravati recorded the temperature of 43.6 degrees C while Gondia, Nagpur and Yavatmal each. While Washim was experiencing 42.5 degrees C Buldana and Gadchiroli registered the temperature of 41.4 each, being lowest in Vidarbha as far as temperature is considered.
Meanwhile, Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning that thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur on May 4 at Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli and Gondia.
