Educational institutions are no just places of learning. They are places where inherent talents are polished, said President of India Ram Nath Kovind.
Kovind was speaking during a programme to inaugurate the campus of Indian Institute of Management, Nagpur at Dahegaon, MIHAN, here on Sunday. “the curriculum offres up opportunity to introspect anf fulil our ambitionâ€, he added.
The President said, “We are living in an era where innovation and entrepreneurship is encouraged and appreciated. These qualities help not only in facilitating life, but also helps in generating employment for many others. He expressed confidence that the atmosphere in IIM, Nagpur would promote entrepreneurship among the students and not produce only the job seekers.
Kovind expressed happiness over formation of Centre for Entrepreneurship by IIM, Nagpur and Women Star-up Programme. Six of them have actually started their own business. He also said that sharing of knowledge is inherent part of our culture. Like IIM, Ahmedabad this institute will also act as mentor for other institutions. He also congratulated IIM, Nagpur for establishing satellite campus in Pune, Hyderabad and Singapure.
