Three Nagpur Municipal Corporation schools have been designated as model schools by the state government. In the first phase, these three schools received a grant of Rs 115,82,000 for minor renovations.
When choosing suitable schools, the government took into account enrollment and quality factors. These schools are Kapil Nagar High Primary School, Tajabad Urdu High School, and Sanjay Nagar Hindi High School.
Nagpur Municipal Corporation has 102 primary and 29 high schools. There are 3 schools with 1 to 30 students, 42 schools with 31 to 100 students, 17 schools with 101 to 250 students and 8 schools with 250 to 1000 students. Although the condition of the corporation’s schools is deplorable, some schools have maintained their standard. Three. such schools have been selected as model schools.
Accordingly, the corporation’s Kapil Nagar School has received a grant of 235.75 lakh, Tajabad Urdu School 19.98 lakh and Sanjay Nagar Hindi High School 260.09 lakh. The grant is meant to carry out minor repairs to the school.
