Nagpur recorded 45.2 degrees Celsius temperature on Sunday, sizzling citizens for the whole day. Yesterday’s day temperature was more or less the same.
Gondia and Brahmapuri were the hottest places in Vidarbha region today by registering 46.2 degrees C. Wardha followed the trend by recording temperature at 45.0 degrees C
As per the forecast by Indian Meteorological Department the heat waves conditions are prevailing all over the region.
The temperature figures in C are as follow at different places: Akola – 44.8, Amravati – 44.2, Chandrapur – 42.9, Gadchiroli – 41.8, Yavatmal – 42.7 and Buldana – 40.0. The temperature at Washim was not available till filing report.
Following are the places in the region where highest temperature was recorded in C on June 5: Brahmapuri – 47.3, Nagpur – 46.3, Wardha – 47.1 in 2003, pusad – 47.6 in 1996, Yavatmal -46.6 in 1995 and Gondia – 46.2 today.
