Dr Nitin Raut, In-charge Minister for Nagpur district, instructed the officers concerned to start CBSE school in English medium and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Digital Guidance Centre in all the six Assembly constituencies falling within the limits of Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
He gave instructions to the officers while addressing a meeting of District Planning Executive Committee held here at Bachat Bhavan on Tuesday. MP Krupal Tumane, Adv Abhijit Vanjari, Raju Parwe, Legislators, B Radhakrishnan, Municipal Commissioner, R Vimla, District Collector, Yogesh Kumbhejkar, Chief Executive Officer, Nagpur ZP, Vijay Magar, Superintendent of Police, Rajesh Gaikwad, District Planning Officer, members and others were present.
Dr Raut further said, there is a need to start a digitalised guidance centre for students appearing for competitive examinations so that they would get success in the examinations. There should also be a hostel with all facilities and good environment for the students. Such centres should be linked with the main centre, he added.
He also wanted that solar system should be adopted in urban and rural schools to conserve energy. The officers should consult each other and submit a proposal in this regard.
