Yoga has created a positive change in the health of millions of people worldwide. This year, yoga has its way to enlighten the journalists’ fraternity of Nagpur. The Press Club of Nagpur in association with The Art of Living Organisation celebrates 8th International Yoga Day on Tuesday 21 June 2022 at the Press Club Hall, Civil Lines exclusively for media persons and their family members from 6.30 am to 8.00 in the morning.
The Divisional Commissioner, Madhavi Khode, IAS, has given his consent to be the Chief Guest for the program. Normal life has changed. Busy routines, long working hours, raising traffic, Covid pandemic and even long-distance travelling are the cause of recent health-related issues and the rise of incidents of heart attacks and other ailments. These are the reasons that led even young people to pay attention towards our physical and mental health.
Experts from The Art of Living Organization, particularly Navin Khanorkar and Anjali Ruben will guide these journalist warriors of Nagpur to a stress-free and healthy mind and body. The program will be for one and a half hours and will include yoga asana, breathing techniques and Mediation. Participants must come with a yoga mat (or a clean bedsheet) and should be in comfortable clothing.
Pradip Kumar Maitra, President, Bramhashankar Tripathy, president and secretary respectively of the Press Club and Anjali Ruben of Art of Living have appealed to all journalists and their family members to participate in the programme and ensure its success.
