Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), Nagpur division, will operate special buses from July 6 to 14 to enable devotees participate in Ashadhi Ekadashi on July 10 and Gurupournima festival on July 13 at Pandharpur. In case of public demand, it will also ply additional buses even before July 6 for Pandharpur pilgrimage.
The buses will be operated by Ganeshpeth Main Bus Station, Ghat Road, Umrer, Ramtek, Saoner, Katol, Imambada and Wardhman Nagar depots. The buses leaving Nagpur will reach to Pandharpur via Kalmanuri, Hingoli, Aundha, Parbhani route while the buses starting from Katol will go the destination via Karanja, Amravati, Karanja-Lad, Washim, Hingoli, Parbhani, Parli, Ambejogai and Kurdwadi.
The Divisional Controller, MSRTC, Nagpur, has asked to the devotees to make their reservations from Ganeshpeth Main Bus Station, Umrer, Ramtek, Katol and Saoner for Pandharpur well in advance so as to avoid rush. The devotees should take maximum benefit of the special services by MSRTC, he appealed.
