Bharatiya Janata Party workers will accord a warm welcome to Devendra Fadnavis, the Deputy Chief Minister, who is coming to the city for the first time after taking charge of the post, on Tuesday at 10 am.
The workers would display saffron flags right from Nagpur airport to Trikoni Park, Dharampeth, to mark welcoming Fadnavis.
Praveen Datke, MLC and President of BJP, Nagpur, said on Monday that the leaders and active workers would welcome Fadnavis at the airport. Then, he will visit Hedgewar Smarak at Hedgewar Chowk to pay respects. Then the leaders and workers would take him in a car/scooter rally upto Trikoni Park. The workers would also felicitate to him at C Chhatrapati Square, Pratap Nagar Square and Laxmi Bhuvan Chowk, he added.
Chandan Goswami, Spokesman-Penalist, said that Chandrashekhar Bawankule, General Secretary, Maharashtra, MP Dr Vikas Mahatme, Ajay Sancheti, former MP, BJP Legislators, Dayashankar Tiwari, Sandip Joshi, former Mayors, Dr Upendra Kothekar, Organising Secretary, Sanjay Bhende, Vice-President, Archana Dehankar, Neeta Thakre, Shivani Dani-Wakhre, Balya Borkar, Sanjay Bangale, office-bearers and workers would participate in the rally of Fadnavis. Datke has appealed to office-bearers, workers and citizens to take part in the rally in large numbers.
