Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University has released 19 winter examination results in record time.
“Our team is putting in a lot of effort,” said Dr Praful Sable, Director of the Board of Examinations and Evaluation. Exams this time contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), but the manner of examination is offline.
We have less manpower strain because the examinations are largely monitored by colleges. We used that time to achieve our goals.”
This is the first time in two years that the University has held summer exams due to the coronavirus outbreak. Previously, the university held online exams, but not offline exams in the last two years.
University is conducting experiment of hold-
ing MCQ-based offline examination which is
new. This time examination is being held at
respective colleges as Home Centres.
“In a way, we could reduce our load but we
had to focus on the centres. Our Flying Squads
are daily on their toe. I personally visit centres
to check whether it is running well or not.
There are some incidents where students car-
ried mobile which we had to seize. Against this
backdrop we are bringing out the results in
record time,†said Dr Sable.
