Blind mystic Baba Vanga who is said to have predicted the 9/11 attacks and Brexit made six predictions for the year 2022 – and two of them appear to have come true.
Nicknamed the Nostradamus of the Balkans, her visions are said to be 85 per cent correct. Some of them include the Chernobyl tragedy, the death of Princess Diana, the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the 2004 Thailand tsunami and Barack Obama’s presidency.
Baba Vanga, whose real name was Vangelia Gushterov, claimed that she was given a very rare gift from God to see into the future after she mysteriously lost her vision at the age of 12 during a massive storm.
When she died in 1996, she left behind predictions that run until 5079, the year she believed the world would end.
Baba Vanga 2022 predictions
For the year 2022, Baba Vanga had predicted that several Asian countries and Australia will be hit with “intense bouts of floods”.
Heavy rainfall and flooding have wreaked havoc on Australia’s East Coast on and off for much of the year.
Baba Vanga had also suggested large cities would be hit by water shortages as a result of drought.
Portugal and Italy have told their citizens to restrict their water usage. Italy is said to be going through its worst drought since the 1950s.
Baba Vanga also predicted another pandemic in Siberia as researchers would discover a lethal virus, famine in India due to temperature drops that will cause locust swarms, alien arrival via asteroid and a virtual reality takeover.
Baba Vanga predictions for future
Later visions include the Earth’s orbit changing in 2023 and astronauts travelling to Venus in 2028.
She also predicted that in 2046, people would live for more than 100 years due to organ transplant technology.
From 2100, she believed that the night would disappear and artificial sunlight would illuminate another part of Earth.
She predicted that the world would end in 5079.
