Finally after a long gap of around three years, the Nagpurians will witness any international cricket mach at Vidarbha Cricket Asociation’s Jamtha Stadium on September 23. The T-20 international match would be played against Australia. It is learnt that India will play Australia in Mohali Nagpur (September 20), (September Hyderabad 23) and (September 25).
So far VCA Jamtha Stadium having total capacity of 44,904 has hosted 12 T20Is and two women’s T20Is. The last T20 was played against Bangladesh on November 10, 2019 in which India recorded 30 run victory. Since then VCA were deprived of any interna tional matches although the cricket activites resumed after Covid-19 break.
