A leopard was sighted again in Dabha-New Shanti Nagar area, which is located adjacent to Gorewada forest area.
The leopard was sighted at around 9.15pm on Monday. Locals said that earlier the same leopard was caught on CCTV camera at around 3am on July 16.
Shanti Nagar area is adjacent to the wall of Gorewada forest. A leop ard has been roaming in the area for the past sever al days. The local citizens informed the forest depart ment in this regard.
Shyam Deshkar lives in New Shanti Nagar adjacent to the Gorewada forest wall. Deshkar’s wife and neigh bor Dinesh Bankar saw the leopard around 9.15pm on Monday, so the leopard I could not be captured on the cellphone camera. In the past too, leopards were seen in the Dabha and New Shanti Nagar.
