The Australian side will be touring India for a much anticipated T20 series just before the start of the upcoming T20 world cup that is all set to be hosted in Australia. The Indian national cricket team is also up and running for the biggest event in cricket history and is looking to warm up with some home series games against Australia and South Africa.
The scheduled series against Australia and South Africa includes three T20 games against the Australian side and three ODI and T20 games each against the South African side. The best thing about this is that India will be fielding two different sides for the T20 and ODI series with the regular side playing the T20 series to prepare for the world cup. The ODI matches will be played with a second-string side which also includes some strong contestants.

The three-match Twenty20 International series involving India and Australia would commence on September 20 at Mohali. They chose the Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground to host the second T20 match on September 22 and the final one at Hyderabad on September 25.
This will be the 13th International match that will be hosted at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground in Nagpur. India has won two out of the four games that they have played on this particular ground. This will be the fifth time that the Indian side will be back on the Vidarbha soil, and the fans from Nagpur will be filled with joy to experience their favorite cricketers back in their place.
The schedule for the Indian team will then be followed by a three-match T20I series between India and South Africa which will be played on September 28, October 1, and October 3 at Trivandrum, Guwahati and Indore.
Apart from that, the Indian side will also play a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series at Ranchi on October 6, Lucknow on October 9, and Delhi on October 11. The ODIs will feature India’s second-string lineup which is no less than the usual side. This is because the World Cup stars are expected to depart for Australia for the ICC Men’s World Cup at that time.
“As our secretary, Jay Shah, just stated, we could possess two top sides of similar calibre ready. As a result, the three One-Day Internationals would be played at the same time as the national squad departs for the World T20,” a BCCI source told PTI.
“The ODI was scheduled to be played in Kolkata, but it fell around Durga Puja, and CAB will be unable to coordinate police patrols around the holiday. As a result, Delhi has been assigned one fixture, “a BCCI source added
The whole world is thrilled with the fact that the Indian side will be fielding two different sides at the same time. This would definitely result in more opportunities for players who were waiting in the wings for a long period of time. Cricket fans would be overjoyed by the fact that they will be able to make more bets through online cricket betting. The Indian side is so rich in talent that they could even field three sides at the same time.
