Major concern for health officials in Nagpur as the risk of swine flu has increased in the city. As many as 75 patients suffering from Influenza A (H1N1) or swine flu have been found in the city this year, along with an increasing number of Corona patients.
So far five persons have died in Nagpur due to swine flu. Of the total death three are registered from Nagpur city, one from the rural area and one from outside the district.
Of the total cases, 45 patients are from Nagpur city, and 24 from the outside city. 46 persons are hospitalized, while two are on ventilator.
Along with the increasing number of Covid patients, the number of Influenza A (H1N1) or Swine Flu is also increasing in Nagpur city.
To prevent this, the swine flu preventive vaccination campaign will soon begin in the city. According to reports Nagpur has received 5000 influenza vaccines.
Initially, the vaccine will be administered to high-risk individuals.
