Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Saturday kickstarted ‘Tiranga Padyatra’ organized by Bharatiya Janata Party in Nagpur under the ‘HarGharTiranga’ campaign launched to commemorate 75th Independence Day.
Along with Nitin Gadkari, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrakant Bawankule along with other party members were present.
India has launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign with fervour and zeal. For this nationwide events and ‘Tiranga yatras’ are being organised by state governments as well as civil society organisations from Karnataka to Gujarat, from Leh to Delhi.
In addition, the campaign has resulted in extraordinary demand for the national flag.
Gadkari also inaugurated a photo exhibition of freedom fighters and great men of freedom struggle which is organized by the Union Ministry of Road Transport at Central Bus Station (Ganeshpeth) in Nagpur.
Gadkari also honored the freedom fighters and their families present on the occasion.
