Four persons were killed and one injured in an accident on Chandrapur-Gadchiroli road near Sawli on Friday night.
The four-wheeler in which they were travelling hit a stationary truck, around 10.30 pm. DJ Pankaj Bagde and his friend from Sawli Anup Tadulwar and Anup’s wife and three others were going to Chandrapur for purchasing some musical instruments and other materials.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and hit the stationary truck in Kisanagar in Sawli taluka. Pankaj Bagde, Anup Tadulwar. His wife Maheswari Tadulwar and Manoj Tirthgirwar died on the spot. The villagers shifted the injured to Sawli Rural Hospital and are being treated.
