This time, on 30th July, Interactors of Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar contributed and converted a vacant area in Bholasingh Nayak School into a library. This activity was conducted in association with the Pragati Rajasthani Mahila Mandal. This initiative of setting up a library was undertaken by 2 of our Interactors- Ranjit Goenka and Aditya Somani and 2 Non-interactors – Reyansh Kewlani and Virat Jain, both of class 9.
They collected books from the school library and set them up on a rack, provided by the Pragati Rajasthani Mahila Mandal, in the room to create a library. They gave them various story books, Mathematics and Grammar books as well. The school also provided them with benches to sit on and read in peace. To give it a cleaner and more decent look, even their walls were painted and that was done by the school as well.
To see the joy on the faces of children when they got interesting and valuable books, was just priceless. The Interact Club succeeded in creating an atmosphere of knowledge and profound admiration!
