On Monday, Team India defeated Zimbabwe by 13 runs in the third ODI, and the Men in Blue celebrated by dancing to the popular Bollywood song ‘Kala Chasma.’
Shikhar Dhawan, Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill, and others joined the viral Instagram craze to celebrate India’s ODI series whitewash over Zimbabwe.
Batting first, Team India scored 289 runs as Shubman Gill continued his fine form with his maiden ODI century. Gill hit 137 off 90 balls, while Ishan Kishan hit a half-century as Zimbabwe all-rounder Brad Evans took five wickets.
While chasing the target, the Chevrons lost their first wicket in the third over but their in-form batsman Sikandar Raza (115) scored a hard-fought century but couldn’t win the match for Zimbabwe.
After the game, Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan took to his official Instagram handle and posted a dance video on viral Kala Chasma trend. The dance video is the unique way of celebrating India’s ODI series win as Dhawan was joined by many fellow cricketers in the dance.
Team India will now head to the United Arab Emirates for the Asia Cup 2022, starting from August 27. However, the Men in Blue will face arch-rivals Pakistan in their opening fixture of the continental tournament on August 28 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
