The bogies of Korba-Itwari, Nagpur Shivnath Express derailed in the wee hours of Tuesday. None of passeengers have been reported injured as the train was moving at a very slow speed. The accident occurred around 3.42 am on Tuesday near Dongargadh yard.
The train number SEC 18239 met with the accident. Two bogies of the train left the track and slipped. Rescue operations were started immediately. A health support train was sent from Gondia and Itwari stations. The train traffic was affectd for some time. However it was restored due to swift action by the railway authorities.
