Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar College gave away sufficient medicines to Transit Treatment Centre (TTC) at Seminary Hills for treatment of injured wild animals or birds.
Principal Dr Ms B A Mehre, Dr Archana Meshram, Coordinator of Nature Club, R S Bagde, HoD, Zoology, along with students gave away medicines on Tuesday that are sufficient for many days. They appreciated the activities undertaken by the centre and employees there, including treatment injured wild animals and releasing them in natural habitats after recovery.
They handed over the medicines to Vijay Gangawane, Range Forest Officer, and Kundan Hate, Member, State Board for Wildlife. Dr Ratnadeep Savant and Parag Panse from the college and staff of the centre were present.
