The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) on August 24 had launched ‘Azadi Quest’, a series of online educational mobile games developed in collaboration with Zynga India.
For this Smita Vats Sharma, Additional Director General (Western Region), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will address a virtual media interaction to discuss details of ‘Azadi Quest’, a series of online educational mobile games
The app launch is in line with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations and also brings forth the story of Indian freedom struggle. Azadi Quest is a series of games in an effort to tap into the huge market of online gamers and to educate youngsters through games. Furthermore, the Government of India has collected information about unsung freedom fighters from the corners of the country.
The information in the app has been curated by the Publications Division and Indian Council of Historical Research. It is expected to become an easily accessible treasure-trove of authentic information on our freedom struggle. Furthermore, it aims to engage players of all ages while harnessing the power of interactive entertainment as a teaching experience about an important era.
