India’s first professional snooker player Yasin Merchant will grace the 5th edition of the Aditya Diddee Memorial Open Snooker Tournament organised by CP Club, Civil Lines.
He will distribute prizes to the winners on September 11.
The National level champion will also hold a two-day training session for upcoming snooker players of the city. This would be for the first time that snooker players of Nagpur will get training and guidance from a national-level champion.
In this tournament of a total 128 participants, only 16 players have made it to the pre-quarter-finals, of which only two seeded players, while rest are budding players.
