Following bad weather, and heavy rainfall in Mumbai two IndiGo flights were diverted to Ahmedabad on Thursday evening.
Due to heavy rains and bad weather visibility was poor in Mumbai hence the two flights were not allowed to land and instead diverted to Ahmedabad.
The Delhi-Mumbai flight and Goa-Mumbai flight carrying around 200 passengers each both did not get landing clearance and was diverted to Ahmedabad. The passengers had to stay in the flight on the runway for one and a half hours before the flight left for Mumbai.
Meanwhile, two other IndiGo flights that took off from Ahmedabad for Mumbai were also delayed by two hours due to poor weather conditions.
