According to the meteorological department, a cyclonic circulation with low pressure has formed along the coasts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, passing through the Bay of West Central Bengal. “Along with this, there is also a low pressure area in the Arabian Sea, whose effect can be seen in Maharashtra, Telangana and other states including Konkan region,” the department said.
Nagpur has received 1157.3 mm rainfall so far, which is 43% more than the average. On the other hand, apart from Nagpur, 8 mm rainfall was record ed in Buldhana and 6 mm in Gondia in the last 24 hours in Vidarbha. There is no news of rainfall in the rest of the districts.
