Maharashtra Legislator and former minister Bachhu Kadu’s bail plea has been rejected by Girgaon (Mumbai suburb) Court. He was sent to magisterial custody for 14 days by the court.
Kadu is facing a charge for staging political agitation in 2018, against which a complaint was lodged. He had applied for bail with Girgaon Court, which rejected it. Immediately after the court order police arrested him. Girgaon court had issued a non-bailable warrant against Kadu, in response to which he presented himself in the court on Wednesday.
Kadu may move the higher court for bail.
