As part of the 153rd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a costume and short drama competition will be held on October 1 at 4 p.m. at Samvidhan Square by Bahujan Vichar Manch.
A peace march will also be held from the Mahatma Gandhi statue at Variety.

The artists will be required to dress in Gandhiji’s attire, and renowned judges will choose the best dressed among them. Contestants must dress up as Gandhi and perform a short skit. The short play in the competition should be about Mahatma Gandhi’s thought, life, and literature.
The deadline for short drama competition entries is September 23. On September 25, the preliminary round of the short drama com petition will be held.
The first prize in the costume and short drama competition will be Rs 10,000, the second prize will be Rs 5,000, and the third prize will be Rs 3,000.
