YMCA Under-16 Inter-School Football Competition is back after three years. It is prestigious and one of the oldest football tournaments for schools.
The 28th edition of the competition will kick off on September 20. The tournament will be played at Gramin Police ground in Suyog Nagar, north Nagpur.
Addressing a press conference, Niraj Singh, Secretary, YMCA, informed that the tournament will be played on knock-out basis, and from this year girls will also participate. The final will be played on October 6.
Daily six matches will be played. The winners from boys and girls will get Rs 10,000each along with a trophy while the runners-up will get Rs 7,500 each and a trophy. “Five individual prizes will also be awarded to the best players in the competition.
