In a tragic incident, ‘Parmatma Ek’ private bus carrying 30 passengers fell down in a valley near Pendhri village on Hingni road in Wardha district, when the driver lost control on the wheels around 11 am on Friday, injuring atleast 13 persons, including 3 women sustaining serious injuries. Fortunately there is no casulty.
It is reported that the passengers hired the bus bearing no: MH 40 AT 0219 to enjoying picnic at Bor dam. However, their happy mood turned into tragedy when the bus plunged in the valley. Among the injured persons 10 are reportedly women with 2/3 women suffering fractures in the legs.
The news spread like fire in jungle when villagers from Pendhri, Deoli and nearby villagers rushed and helped in shifting the injured to rural hospital at Hingna. When contacted, Rajendra Dudhbade, Sarpanch if Pendhri, told The Live Nagpur that he and others were busy in shifting the injured to the hospital.
Upon getting information, policemen also reached the spot and helped in shifting injured persons. They also controlled the crowd and made investigation into the case.
